This video doesn’t make much sense but it reflects what’s going on within my brain perfectly at this moment in time.
Everyone has to make some pretty tough decisions in life and we all handle them differently, I see life as a game; a really hard game! I have ‘levelled up’ a LOT since moving to London and now I want to think about what I can achieve from all of these new skills I worked so hard to earn. Who knows where I’ll be this time next year but hopefully you’ll all be there with me! :D
Some people can change your life without even meaning to, Laura was one of these people for me. Now that she’s back in Canada I wanted to make something that shows (in a not too soppy way) how much I appreciate her being there for me throughout my stay in London.
Her confidence and independence still baffles me and I feel that more people should know about the caring, fun and free-spirited personality of Laura. She’s helped me realise that it’s okay to be alone and that life is for living, not working.
My (slightly awkward) presentation to the children of All Saints Academy in Plymouth. Throughout this presentation I tried to get across the importance of having a creative outlet and how platforms like YouTube can help make their futures brighter and give them more opportunities. The future is digital so these kids are ahead of the game already but I wanted to open their eyes to how important being a part of this is and what skills being a part of something like YouTube can teach them; videoing, editing, social media, marketing, etc.
I also wanted to show that being a shy person doesn’t mean that this has to hold back a person from expressing their creativity. YouTube gives them a way to express this and appeal to other people.
So I’ve started to write articles on the side for GameSkinny as part of a journalism course, check my first couple out and let me know what you think! :) This particular one is about how awesome the Humble 2K Bundle is, I mean the whole Bioshock trilogy for a price you can name? Crazy!
I am still so bewildered that there’s over 1, 000 of you! I know that isn’t a lot in comparison to other YouTubers but I really don’t mind as I feel like we have a great community. I appreciate your involvement in all that I do and felt I needed to express this to you all. Thank you for sticking with me and I’m looking forward to the future of this channel! :D
